Welcome to my website.  I am thrilled you have found me.  I am a versatile, interactive singer and party entertainer, specialising mainly in 20th Century music but with some 21st Century music to choose from too.

From the moment you make contact, I will work with you to understand your requirements to ensure your event is memorable and fun....and just what you wanted.  Every performance is unique and I pride myself on the fabulous feedback from the wonderful people I have had the pleasure of performing for.  

I have a diverse repertoire and will put together a set list to suit your special occasion, party, corporate event or wedding.  I want your party to be amazing as much as you do.

Tailoring from a Wide Range of Music:

I will research your party theme, occasion and audience type to build a suitable set list of songs and I have put together many themed events, [please click for further theme night ideas].  You can choose from an eclectic range of genres, decades and eras. 

Not many live singers cover the variety of styles I do.  One night I'm a jazz and swing singer and another day a rock and roll or vintage singer. I love a wartime sing along as much as dancing the night away to the hits of the 50s, popular 60s music and the sounds of the 1970s. 

You will always find me friendly and helpful.  I also dress for the occasion so, if you are celebrating the sixties, I will look and sound like a 1960's singer.  If you are into bygone days, I will dress in my nineteen forties vintage gown with hair sweeps like The Andrews Sisters.  With this personalised service comes good value and a memorable occasion.

Group or Soloist?

Lots of singers play with a band, I tend to play with quality backing tracks and a Bose music entertainment system or with an acoustic guitar or piano player to accompany me, if available.  My Bose P.A. system is perfect for singers like me who can hit the top notes and surprise you with very low notes too! 

I can reach the counter tenor range and, with a beautiful dress, coupled with atmospheric lighting and expressive delivery of the lyrics, the music can be enjoyed and appreciated without a guitarist or backing bands.

I can call in fellow performers if you would like carolers, flash mobs or singing waiters.  You choose the number of singers, live vocals with recorded accompaniment.

Why makes my shows unique?

I bring along lots of fun props and musical instruments and make these available to guests if they want to join in.  Some of the guests get on stage with me and they are often absolutely amazing stars!  This makes me a live presenter, singer and party band - all rolled into one - so I don't have the price tag of a function band. 

I adapt the show as I go along and audience participation is very welcome but not at all compulsory!

What Makes Me Unique?

I didn't have the opportunity to learn to sing until later in life so I bring an enormous passion and gratitude that I am finally doing what I was born to do.  This enthusiasm rubs off on my audiences and ensures that I get repeat bookings from a multitude of satisfied clients...this is what drives me.  

I had 15 years experience working as an International Business Analyst in the IT Industry before re-training as a performing artiste so you will find that this extra set of skills helps me understand your preferences and requirements. 

I am a registered Dementia Friend and I am well-known for my ability to engage with guests with special needs.

Set List and Timings:

I will tailor the song list and music sets to work with your chosen schedule.  Most people have two sets with a break but I can do one long set or break the evening into two or three sections.  You can have a different song era or genres for each set if you like and I will change costumes in between.

Working as a Soloist or with a Band?

I used to sing in bands when I started out but I tend not to work with bands unless the right people are available and can be arranged separately. I have worked with a band in the past but, these days, I choose to perform as a soloist or with an acoustic guitar or pianist. Booking bands where all the members need to be available to play a gig can be tricky and affect availability, so I prefer to sing alone or with some of my guests alongside! 

I have a state of the art Bose p.a. system which has a small footprint and a beautiful sound.

My shows are ideal for those who may not have the budget for a tribute band.  My solo tribute show is the solution!

I will happily work alongside other acts and DJs and will liaise with them in advance if required.

I was Resident Singer in a hotel in Somerset for the whole of 2012 and have three years experience as Resident Cabaret Artiste in Portsmouth. Last Christmas, I had the honour of performing for a season in a prestigious London venue.
